Accenture mentorship
Accenture and the City Goverment of Buenos Aires had made an aliance and created a womens mentorship program for the students that made the IT courses of the city program "Codo a Codo", that means "Elbow to Elbow" an expression for working together. Yesterday was the closure event in Accenture and I walked out beyond motivated. ¡It was such a great experience! First thing it was so inspiring and empowering to see other women in those power positions in a big company like that and not just that they got there with theyre hard work but it's also valuable that the company has given them that place and is now involved in programs like mentorship for women. It was great to see the group of students with diferent stories and backgrounds and feel that I'm not alone. That beside the differences we all have the same fears and doubts. I also had the chance to thank to my mentor Martín that is a great person and was there to talk about everything and make us see that we can do it. No words are anough. As a part of the event they gave us a tour of the company building. The design has really gone all the way not just thinking about creating a beutiful environment inspired in the city history but talso thinking about the impact the whole building recives renewable energy from an eolic plant. I'm really greatful for this experience, they were so welcoming and warmand and just made us feel a part of them.
